Arkansas Celebrates Inaugural Best Burger Contest
The Arkansas Beef Council is proud to announce its first-ever “Arkansas’s Best Burger Contest” where burger enthusiasts from across the state can nominate their favorite burger starting September 1. This exciting competition aims to promote 100% beef burgers available in Arkansas restaurants. The contest will run from September 1 to September 30, giving ample time for burger lovers to cast their votes.
To qualify, burgers must be made with 100% beef patties and be available on the nominated restaurant’s menu. Additionally, all burgers must be served on a bun or bread product and can include various condiments, cheeses, and toppings. Nominated restaurants must be open year-round and offer their burgers consistently throughout the contest.
The contest is divided into five regions within the state, with the top two burgers from each region advancing to the final round based on the number of nominations. Anonymous judges will then visit each of these top ten restaurants to sample the burgers, selecting one as the champion. The winner will be crowned as Arkansas’s Best Burger on October 31.
Arkansas residents can nominate their favorite burgers once a day at arkasasbeef.org. The contest is expected to generate significant interest and excitement among burger enthusiasts and local restaurants alike.
