Travis Queck’s Lifelong Commitment to Bryant High: A Journey from Player to Administrator
From linebacker coach to head baseball coach, defensive coordinator, and now assistant athletic director, Travis Queck’s dedication to Bryant High School spans multiple roles and decades.
Queck, an alumnus of Bryant High School, graduated in 2005 and went on to contribute significantly to the school’s athletic programs. He began as a linebacker coach, helping the Hornets secure their first-ever football state title in 2018. His leadership and expertise earned him the role of head baseball coach, a position he held for seven seasons.
Life often takes unexpected turns, and Queck was no exception. When Garrett Bock returned to lead the Hornets’ baseball program, Queck stepped down to become the defensive coordinator for the football team. This shift allowed him to build on his strengths, drawing from his background as a linebacker coach.
In 2024, the Bryant School Board recognized Queck’s extensive experience and commitment by appointing him the new assistant athletic director. This latest development in his career underscores the depth of Queck’s connection to his alma mater and the trust placed in him by the school administration.
Throughout his journey, Queck has consistently demonstrated a profound loyalty to Bryant High, often transitioning into new roles that allowed him to adapt and contribute in meaningful ways. As assistant athletic director, he brings his wealth of knowledge and passion to a new arena, ensuring that his impact on the school’s athletic programs will continue to grow.
