LR West Names Top Grads of 2024
Lake Region West High School has announced its top graduates for the Class of 2024, comprising outstanding students who have excelled academically and demonstrated leadership.
The school’s valedictorian, Bhavnish Tucker, has been recognized for her exceptional academic achievements. She is described as a dedicated student who has significantly contributed to her school community through various extracurricular activities. Bhavnish’s parents are Maloti Tucker and Brian Tucker.
In addition to her academic success, Bhavnish has demonstrated leadership by being the president of the National Honors Society and vice president of the Student Council. She also actively participated in the school’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Bhavnish expresses that her desire to learn and appreciate the subjects she studies helped her achieve academic success. She also stressed the importance of taking time to rest and reflect when faced with personal challenges.
Bhavnish will continue her education at the University of Chicago, pursuing Psychology and Philosophy. She remains open to exploring various career options within these fields.
Also recognized among the top graduates are Kristin Gannoe, Markeshia Robinson, Josephine Elise Neukirch, and Kennedi Aniya Green. These students have all shown remarkable dedication and perseverance throughout their high school careers.
The annual graduation ceremony was held on May 24, marking an important milestone for these accomplished students as they embark on their future endeavors.
