New Baptist Health Clinic Opens in Growing East Side of North Little Rock
A brand-new Baptist Health clinic has opened its doors in the Rose City area of North Little Rock, marking a significant milestone in healthcare accessibility for the city’s eastern residents. This clinic is the first full-service medical facility in the area since a medical office burned down in 2013, bridging a crucial healthcare gap.
This partnership between Baptist Health and the City of North Little Rock has brought a much-needed healthcare resource to the rapidly growing east part of the city. The health clinic is housed in a nearly 6,500-square-foot building at 4200 E. Washington Ave. and is designed to serve patients from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Personally, North Little Rock Mayor Terry Hartwick has firsthand experience with the importance of timely medical care. Hartwick suffered a head injury as a child and believes that immediate attention in Rose City was crucial to saving his life. This clinic serves as a testament to the commitment of Baptist Health and the city to improve healthcare outcomes in the community.
The clinic offers a wide range of medical services, including women’s wellness exams, chronic disease management, and remote trauma care facilities, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive care close to home. Headed by Dr. Jessica Udeogu, a native of Carrollton, Texas, and supported by Gia Williams, APRN, the clinic is poised to make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the local population.
The construction of the clinic was made possible through philanthropic support from Bank of America, which covered part of the approximately million project cost, including costs for medical and dental equipment. The opening of the clinic underscores Baptist Health’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to the people of Arkansas.
With the clinic finally operational, residents of Rose City and surrounding areas now have a reliable and convenient healthcare provider to turn to in their moment of need.
