Saline County Fair Returns, Continuing Over 100 Years of Tradition
The Saline County Fair, a beloved event with roots dating back to 1908, has once again kicked off in Benton, Arkansas, offering a diverse range of activities and attractions to the community. As one of the oldest continual annual fairs in Arkansas, the Saline County Fair has evolved significantly over the years. From its humble beginnings as a small gathering at Riverside Park to now featuring a vibrant parade, a full rodeo, livestock sales, games, carnival rides, contests, live music, and exhibits showcasing locally produced items, the fair has become an integral part of the county’s cultural fabric.
The fair’s growth has been managed and funded by the Saline County Fair Association since its inception. Over the years, the association has developed the event into a comprehensive experience for locals and visitors alike, ensuring that it stays relevant and engaging for new generations.
