UA Little Rock Names Kindle Holderby as Executive Director of Admissions

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) has welcomed back Kindle Holderby, a seasoned higher education professional, as its new Executive Director of Admissions. Holderby, formerly the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management at UA Little Rock, brings over 15 years of experience in enrollment management and a proven track record of success to his new role.

Holderby rejoins UA Little Rock after serving as Vice President at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, a prominent higher education consulting firm. Prior to that, he served at UA Little Rock from 2021 to 2023, during which time he significantly improved admissions and recruitment efforts, leading to a record increase in freshman and transfer student enrollment.

In his new position, Holderby will be responsible for leading undergraduate admissions, new student recruitment efforts, and overseeing several key departments including the Office of Enrollment Management and International Student Services. His extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, and admissions makes him well-equipped to continue the positive momentum in enrollment at UA Little Rock.

Touted for his dedication to student success and academic excellence, Holderby expresses enthusiasm about working with the admissions team to attract a diverse and talented student body. His determination to help every prospective student find their path to success at UA Little Rock aligns with the university’s mission.

Holderby’s impressive background includes roles such as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management at UA Little Rock, Director of Admissions at Emporia State University, and Vice President of Student Affairs at Bacone College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northeastern State University and a master’s degree in education administration from East Central University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor in Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.
