UAMS Brain Injury Program Offers Free Virtual Workshop Aug. 15

In an effort to connect individuals affected by traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) with valuable resources and support, the UAMS Institute for Digital Health and Innovation’s Brain Injury Program is hosting a free virtual workshop on August 15.

Open to the public, this workshop seeks to provide attendees with comprehensive information about the range of services available in Arkansas. It will cover digital health clinics, the 24/7 Brain and Spine call center, as well as local brain injury support groups. Keynote speaker Tanya Phillips will discuss “Reinventing Yourself Healthy and Happy.”

Participants need to register for the workshop to receive the Zoom link. This can be done by calling 501-526-7656 or visiting tinyurl.com/BIPAUG15. The event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The UAMS Brain Injury Program offers a wide array of services, including case management, telemedicine, community resources, and support groups, all of which are free for Arkansans living with brain injuries.

As the state’s leading program for brain injuries, it aims to improve the lives of those impacted by providing access to comprehensive support throughout the recovery process. With its network of regional campuses and partnerships, the program is dedicated to enhancing healthcare outcomes for individuals affected by TBIs.
