Community Focus: Youth Sunday at Bethel on August 11
Bethel AME Church, located at 1220 Carmichael Street, Malvern, is gearing up to celebrate Youth Sunday on August 11, 2024. This event promises to be an inspiring and uplifting experience for the local community, with a focus on the younger generation.
Highlighting the occasion will be the program’s speaker, Mrs. Nicole Hughes, a member of Victory Praise and Worship Church in Malvern. Born and raised in Malvern, Hughes’ commitment to the local community is evident through her various roles and initiatives, including the Feed the Hungry Meals Ministry and the Susie Barnes Abron Memorial Scholarship.
She brings a rich experience to the event, having worked with the Department of Human Services for over 20 years and currently serving as a Certified Parent Educator with the Malvern School District.
Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in casual attire, ensuring a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all. Under the guidance of Rev. Daryell Howell, Bethel AME Church continues to foster a sense of unity and purpose within the community, especially among the youth.
