The 29th season of the beloved PBS series ‘Antiques Roadshow’ is set to premiere on January 6, 2025, with a special three-episode run featuring treasures from Bentonville, Arkansas. The episodes were filmed at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in May 2024. This historic venue provided a unique backdrop for the show, with more than 3,500 guests from across the country bringing their antiques and collectibles to be appraised. Each item tells a rich story, reflecting not only its monetary value but also the credibility and historical context provided by the experts.
The second episode, airing on January 13, will delve into more Arkansas treasures, including an Elvis Presley-signed ice cream cone display, an Arnold Palmer-engraved golf club (ca. 1980), and a Marvel Silver Age comics collection worth ,000 to ,000. These finds highlight the show’s ability to capture both monetary value and personal significance.
The final episode, airing on January 20, will feature an 1857 Queen’s Cup ascot race trophy, a 1956 Curta calculator type II, and an Art Deco sapphire & platinum ring. Each piece is a testament to the diverse history and cultural richness of America.
