Church Notes: Local Churches Announce Vacation Bible School Dates; Registration Open
Local churches have announced their Vacation Bible School (VBS) dates for this summer, providing opportunities for children to engage in faith-based activities and community service. The programs are designed to bring children and families together, fostering spiritual growth and lasting connections.
First Presbyterian Church
First Presbyterian Church in Springdale will host its VBS from July 8 through 12. The event, themed “Sounds of Creation: Learn the Bible Through Sound,” is open to children of all ages and backgrounds. The church encourages online registration for both children and volunteers, ensuring an inclusive and active experience for all participants.
Bella Vista Lutheran Church
Bella Vista Lutheran Church will conduct its VBS sessions from June 17 to 20. The program includes dinner for all registrants each night, making it a convenient option for families. Registration is currently available on the church website, ensuring early planning and preparations for the event.
Other Community Activities
In addition to VBS, local churches are organizing various community activities. First Presbyterian Church is starting a Congregational Garden for education and growth, as well as offering Hispanic GED classes. The church also runs periodic youth gatherings and provides emotional and spiritual support to its members through the Stephen Ministers program. Bella Vista Community Church has Women’s Bible Study sessions, Men’s Bible Federation meetings, and Prayer Fellowship gatherings to nurture spiritual growth within the community.
