Conway Couple Found Guilty of Federal Child Sex and Porn Charges

Benjamin Jay Jordan Coney, 26, and Emily Grace Brinley, 25, a married couple from Conway, Arkansas, have pleaded guilty to federal charges related to child sex and pornography. Their involvement was uncovered during an undercover investigation in late 2023.

In November 2023, investigators from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office began an online sting operation, posing as a mother of two young daughters. Coney initiated contact, expressing interest in engaging in sexual activities with children. He and his wife subsequently arranged to travel to Bentonville to meet the alleged children and engage in these activities.

Once they arrived at the predetermined location, they were arrested. A search of Coney’s phone revealed extensive child sexual abuse material, including 76 video files and 176 images.

  • Coney, a former coach for the Arkansas Punishers minor league football team, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and aiding and abetting the attempted enticement of a minor.
  • Brinley also pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting the attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.

Both Coney and Brinley are awaiting sentencing and will be required to register as sex offenders. In addition to the federal charges, they also face charges from the State of Arkansas.
