Local High School Culinary Talent Powers River Blend Coffee’s Growth
As the summer heats up, a Pineville coffee shop is gaining momentum with a fresh menu and extended hours. River Blend Coffee, a student-run establishment on Harmon Street, is getting a boost from McDonald County High School (MCHS) culinary students.
These students have taken it upon themselves to expand the coffee shop’s offerings, fitting for an exciting summer schedule packed with events. To cater to the growing demand, daily paninis have been added to the menu, complemented by a variety of pastries that will rotate weekly to keep things fresh and exciting.
This collaborative effort highlights the high school’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial skills alongside culinary prowess. It’s a great opportunity for the students to put their talents to the test and make a tangible impact on their community. This partnership not only helps River Blend Coffee but also provides real-world experience for these young culinary enthusiasts.
