The airport has managed to complete the conversion of their first floor of the parking deck. This transformation allows for an additional 370 public parking spots, formerly occupied by rental cars. Rental cars are now located west of the terminal, paving the way for a parking deck dedicated to rental car operations.
Other notable projects that are garnering attention include proposals for a hotel southwest of the parking deck. Designed for business travelers, these plans include a restaurant, fitness center, and meeting rooms. The possibilities are extensive, with two proposals already under review, each offering 90 rooms across four or five stories. This hotel would not only enhance the travel experience but also bolster the local economy by catering to business visitors.

The airport directly supports over 1,000 stable jobs in the area, which further spills over to numerous other companies providing services to the airport. Their continuous growth is tied to their ability to offer more direct routes. They currently offer non-stop flights to over 23 destinations across the United States, with more opportunities on the horizon as passenger numbers grow.
