NWACC Sees Largest Enrollment in School’s History

Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) has reported its largest enrollment in history, an achievement marking significant growth for the institution. This milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the college’s faculty and staff.

NWACC’s fall enrollment has reached a record high of 9,017 students, representing a 7% increase from last year. This surge in enrollment follows a pattern of growth the college has been experiencing in recent years, including a 10% increase in 2022 and 7% in 2023.

The college credited its “collaborative and innovative efforts” to serve students better and the success of its workforce and accelerated skills training programs. NWACC’s high-quality education and programs now encompass associate degrees, terminal degrees, and non-college-credit workforce development offerings.

The college’s President, Dennis Rittle, expressed excitement and appreciation for the community’s support and the students who have chosen NWACC. He also highlighted the importance of the college’s investment in job training and upskilling programs.

Despite the challenges posed by a recent cyberattack, NWACC continues to thrive, with its enrollment figures reflecting a strong demand for the college’s academic and workforce offerings.
