New Maverik Gas Station Plans Move Forward in Various Locations
As Maverik continues to expand its reach across the United States, several locations are witnessing plans for new gas stations. At Quinn’s Junction in Park City, Utah, a Maverik gas station could soon bring a much-needed fuel stop between the city limits and Kamas. The location in the Park City Business Park has received support from the Summit County Council and would provide an alternative for residents who currently have to travel to Kamas or Park City for fuel. The site plan includes environmental protections such as a protective liner to mitigate potential leaks and a monitoring system for gas storage tanks.
Another site where Maverik is making significant progress is next to the Silver Bow Drive-In in Butte, Montana. Despite initial opposition due to concerns about the historic drive-in theater, the Zoning Board of Adjustments has approved the project, citing the potential benefits to the local economy and job creation. The approved plan includes measures to address concerns about light and sound impacts on the nearby drive-in, such as heavy landscaping along the property line and photometric studies to minimize light displacement. Although some still oppose the project, Maverik remains committed to finding ways to coexist with the drive-in.
- Checks bank statements regularly for suspicious transactions
- Reports any potential fraud to the authorities
- Remains cautious at gas pumps by checking for unusual appearances or issues with card readers
It is crucial to stay proactive in today’s environment where card skimmers are becoming increasingly common and can cause significant financial issues if not caught promptly.
These new gas stations, along with increased awareness among users, can help create a safer and more convenient experience for motorists in different regions.
