RedBall Project adds another stop to NWA tour

RedBall Project Expands Northwest Arkansas Tour

The RedBall Project, a celebrated inflatable mobile sculpture artwork by American artist Kurt Perschke, has just added another location to its tour in Northwest Arkansas. This unique street art installation is known for its 250-pound, 15-foot diameter presence, which will make its mark on five different cities in the region between September 10 and 15, 2024.

The artist has chosen distinct pedestrian spaces and architectural features to showcase the RedBall each day. Perschke aims to engage the public and access the imagination embedded in all spectators through the char مشاهدة celui-ci nature of the installation. This interactive element has made the RedBall Project the longest-running street art work globally.

The tour will begin in Rogers on September 10 with an opening reception at MIXD Gallery. The piece will then travel to Bentonville on September 11, followed by stops in Siloam Springs, Fayetteville, and Springdale before returning to Bentonville on September 15. Each day, the RedBall will be on display from 11 am to 6 pm, allowing visitors ample time to explore and engage with the artwork.

Throughout its global journey, the RedBall Project has been presented in collaboration with local cultural partners. The Northwest Arkansas leg is supported by the Municipal Arts Alliance, an initiative of the Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange (CACHE) and funded by the Walmart Foundation and Walton Family Foundation.
