Time Loop by Klip Collective: Illuminating the North Forest
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is set to open a captivating outdoor exhibit titled Time Loop by Klip Collective: A Forest Light Experience. This enchanting light installation will transform the North Forest with a combination of light projections, sound, and music, creating an immersive and magical experience for visitors.
In collaboration with Klip Collective, renowned for their projection mapping technology, the exhibit brings life to the forest by projecting vibrant lights onto sculptures, trees, and plants. The six site-responsive installations are specifically designed for the museum grounds, ensuring a unique and engaging experience that will transport visitors through time and place.
The mastermind behind Klip Collective, Ricardo Rivera, has a history of transforming spaces with his innovative use of light and sound. From his early days in the rave scene to working with major clients like Nike and Target, Rivera has continuously pushed the boundaries of what is possible with projection mapping. His latest project, Time Loop, showcases his exceptional skill in synchronizing digital technology with the natural environment.
Beyond the visual spectacle, the exhibit aims to inspire visitors to appreciate the present moment, as each piece is constructed to resonate with its surroundings. Rivera hopes that by experiencing these installations, visitors will reflect on their own perceptions of time and the significance it holds in their lives.
Time Loop by Klip Collective will be open from Wednesday and will run through January 5. Tickets are timed and priced at for adults. This extraordinary event is surely not to be missed, offering a unique blend of art, technology, and nature that promises to leave a lasting impression on all who attend.
