Woman Accused of Threatening to Kill Two People in Pea Ridge
A dramatic incident unfolded on August 31 when Jacqueline Wilson was arrested in Pea Ridge for allegedly threatening to kill two people. The event began with a verbal altercation at the Garden Apartments on East Pickens Road, where Wilson was engaging in a heated argument with a man outside an apartment.
Wilson was seen pointing a firearm at the man as police officers arrived on the scene. One officer drew his weapon, instructing Wilson to lower her firearm. Although she complied, she did not release the weapon. Instead, she walked away and entered her vehicle. When confronted, she defiantly told the officer, “Shoot me.”
Fortunately, additional officers arrived quickly and were able to take Wilson into custody without any complications. During the investigation, it was discovered that Wilson had taken the man’s phone, which he had used to call 911, and had made threats against him and another occupant of the apartment.
Wilson was booked into the Benton County Detention Center on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated residential burglary, assault on a family or household member, and first-degree interference with emergency communications. Her bond has been set at 0,000.
Both Wilson and the man involved in the argument were unharmed in the incident.
