Applications Open for Local GORP Incubator Intensive

Startup entrepreneurs in the outdoor recreation industry now have an opportunity to accelerate their business development through the Greenhouse Outdoor Recreation Program (GORP) Incubator Intensive. Applications are currently being accepted for this comprehensive program designed to provide support and resources tailored to the specific needs of entrepreneurs across Arkansas.

The GORP Incubator Intensive offers a variety of critical services to participating entrepreneurs, including access to workshops, networking events, one-on-one consulting, and legal services. This program is conducted at several state parks and key locations, including Queen Wilhelmina State Park, Petit Jean State Park, Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and West Delta Heritage Trail. The deadline to apply for this intensive program is July 8th, and it is open to entrepreneurs from Conway County and its adjacent counties.

For those interested in more general support or unsure about the readiness of their company for the Incubator Intensive, GORP also offers a range of a la carte services. These services cover foundational business support, such as workshops, networking events, and consulting. Furthermore, entrepreneurs can stay updated on the latest programs and events by joining the GORP email list, which can be tailored to meet their specific business needs.

In addition to the Incubator Intensive and general support, GORP also runs a competitive Cohort Incubator program based in Bentonville. This program provides a 12-week curriculum with workshops, dedicated mentorship, and up to ,000 in non-dilutive funding for selected startups. Applications for the fall 2024 Cohort Incubator will open in mid-June, offering yet another opportunity for outdoor recreation entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
