Fatal Accident Claims Life of Conway Man
A recent accident in Faulkner County has tragically resulted in the loss of Max L. Litton, a 65-year-old resident of Conway. The incident occurred on Wednesday at 3:35 p.m. on Arkansas 36 Bull Mountain Road.
Litton was driving his 2013 Ford F-150 westbound on the highway when it crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound 2019 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by Braden C. Tapley. The force of the impact caused Litton’s vehicle to rotate counterclockwise and come to a stop facing south, while Tapley’s truck left the road and ended up in a ditch.
The Arkansas State Police investigated the accident and found that the weather was clear and the road conditions were dry at the time of the incident. While these circumstances did not contribute to the accident, they highlight the unpredictable nature of traffic incidents.
This incident serves as a sober reminder of the importance of road safety. The loss of life in such incidents underscores the need for continued efforts to improve road infrastructure and driver awareness. As the community mourns the loss of Litton, it also acknowledges the ongoing efforts to minimize such tragedies.
