Miss Arkansas Scholarship Recipient Announced
On June 10, 2024, the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Foundation announced the recipient of this year’s scholarship. The prestigious award went to Miss Arkansas Valley, Jayson Toney, who recently graduated from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith last May. This recognition marks a significant milestone for Toney, solidifying her position among the state’s outstanding young women.
Toney’s achievement is part of a long tradition of empowering young women through educational support. In 2023, the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Foundation awarded over 7,000 in scholarships to contestants participating in the Miss Arkansas and Miss Arkansas’ Teen pageants. This substantial investment in the future of these women underscores the foundation’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth.
Miss Arkansas, Cori Keller, made headlines last year when she won the title at the 85th Miss Arkansas Scholarship Pageant. Keller, who won the Miss Metro crown, went on to represent Arkansas at the Miss America 2024 pageant, making it to the top 11.
Beyond the main pageant events, the Miss Arkansas organization offers a range of opportunities for contestants to develop their skills and confidence. From the Marketplace Scholarship interview winners to the Diamond State Program, the organization is dedicated to nurturing the talents and aspirations of young Arkansans.
