Perry Co. Fair continues

The Perry County Fair

The 2024 Perry County Fair kicked off with a parade on Monday and continues through Saturday at the fairgrounds in Perryville. This fantastic event offers a range of activities, from animal judging to entertainment and local exhibits.

During the fair, attendees can enjoy diverse dining options and a wide array of rural-themed activities. General admission is , and rides operate from 12pm to 5pm and 6pm to 11pm each day. Rides are provided by Prime Time.

Animal check-in took place on Tuesday, followed by rabbit and poultry judging. Other activities include the Skillathon Contest and Farmer for a Day. Notably, there will be no open class for cattle, sheep, or swine this year.

For visitors who want to stay on-site, camping contracts are available. Renewals are due by April 1, and there is a waiting list for those interested.

Throughout the week, the fairgrounds will feature local livestock, art, and crafts, making it an ideal event for friends and families to reunite and have fun.

The Perry County Agricultural Society is also accepting bids for janitorial service and gate coverage for the 2024 fair.
