State fairs and local events are meticulously planned to ensure attendees have a memorable experience. The Arkansas State Fair, for example, takes place at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds in Little Rock and runs from October 11 to 20. Gates open daily at 11 am, offering a wide range of activities such as a midway/carnival, music concerts, rodeos, and livestock competitions. Plus, the fair will feature arts and crafts competitions, acrobatic and magic shows, food demonstrations, and more. Visitors will not be disappointed by the diverse selection of attractions on offer.

While the Arkansas State Fair is one of the most prominent events, other local fairs, such as the NEA District Fair and the Washington County Fair, are equally enticing. The NEA District Fair, held from September 19 to 28, boasts nine days of family fun, including a midway with carnival rides, arts & crafts exhibits, and a variety of musical performances. The Washington County Fair, occurring from August 20 to 24 in Fayetteville, is known as the largest county fair in Arkansas, with a bull riding event, a Miss Washington County Fair pageant, and a petting zoo to name a few. Each day has themed activities aimed at different segments of the population, ensuring there is something for everyone.
