The highly anticipated Toad Suck Daze returns to downtown Conway, Arkansas, from May 3rd to 5th, 2024, for its impressive 43rd year. This family-friendly festival, renowned as the largest free family festival in Arkansas, has something for all ages, including concerts, shopping, carnival rides, children’s activities, and the signature World Championship Toad Races.
The 2024 lineup promises a vibrant mix of Arkansas flair and national talent. David Leonard and Josh Baldwin are set to perform on Sunday, sponsored by the Conway Cowboy Church, while Destiny Worship Music will open the evening. Sunday’s entertainment is part of a schedule that has an Arkansas-centric feel, woven together by Toad Suck Daze’s creative director, Adam Hambrick.
New and traditional events are slated to unveil. Acxiom Tinkerfest, with programming provided by the Museum of Discovery, offers hands-on educational opportunities for all ages. To mark a first, NativState Toadally Outdoors is a new event designed to feature exhibits and activities that celebrate outdoor fun and science. Two nights of family movies (one featuring Encanto and the other Space Jam: A New Legacy) are scheduled. Documentaries, such as Dusty & Stones and Arkansas Wild: The Story of Trout Tourism on the Little Red River, will also be showcased.
Moreover, Toad Suck Daze is renowned for its charitable giving, with a record 0,500 to be donated this year to various initiatives. This includes a monumental 0,000 headed to the Little Rock Zoo, which will enhance an amphibian and reptile exhibit. This contribution is a testament to the Toad Suck Daze’s commitment to the community, exceeding the .4 million already given to scholarships, endowments, STEM education, preschool funding, arts education, and community development.
