UCA Expands Engagement to Northwest Arkansas
The University of Central Arkansas is expanding engagement to Northwest Arkansas (NWA) with familiar faces at the helm. This strategic move involves Paul Gatling, who has been selected for a new role that demonstrates UCA’s commitment to increasing its reach within the region.
Given the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance its affordability, this move comes at a significant time. Recently, UCA introduced the UCA Commitment program to support students from Arkansas households with less than 0,000 in income, ensuring they can attend without paying tuition or mandatory fees out of pocket. The program’s focus aligns well with the need for greater access to higher education in the NWA area.

The university is actively engaging in local projects and events as part of this expansion:
-
The UCA Summer Theatre is set to premiere “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” at the Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
-
The UCA History Department is hosting a mini-camp for National History Day competitors at the Faulkner County Library.

This expansion reflects UCA’s dynamic approach to growth and community engagement, further solidifying its presence in Northwest Arkansas.
