Mt. Vernon-Enola’s Pride: Recognizing Excellence in Students and Educators

In a recent celebration, Mt. Vernon-Enola High School took the opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals who embody the school’s core values. The student body and faculty came together to honor students and a teacher who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to education and community.

Student Warhawk Pride Recipients

Mt. Vernon-Enola High School is thrilled to recognize four students for their outstanding efforts. These students are Destiny Haggard, Coree Kyle, Zion Lehr, and Yanira Silva. These individuals have consistently demonstrated the school’s core values and made significant contributions to their academic and extracurricular activities. Destiny Haggard: Known for her outstanding academic achievements, Destiny has consistently pushed herself to excel. Her dedication to various clubs and community service projects has earned her not only recognition but also respect within the school community.
Coree Kyle: Coree’s passion for the arts is evident in his creative and innovative approach to every project. He has been a driving force in several school productions and has always volunteered to help his peers, showcasing his empathetic nature.
Zion Lehr: Zion’s curiosity and thirst for knowledge are traits that have made him a standout student. He actively participates in class discussions, always ready to share his insights and perspectives, and often helps his fellow students with challenging assignments.

English teacher Cathy Lewis has been nominated for the Warhawk Pride award by her colleague, Mrs. Amy Hodge.
