Chris Evans Named President, CEO of Arvest Mortgage Division

Arvest Mortgage Division Welcomes Chris Evans as New President and CEO

On August 5, Arvest Bank announced Chris Evans as the new president and CEO of their mortgage division. This change in leadership follows a series of shuffles within the organization. Former CEO Pete Boomer left in July to take the lead mortgage role at Regions Bank. Evans, who has been director of finance for Arvest since 2012, brings 27 years of experience in the financial industry to his new position.

Evans joined Arvest in 2006 and has led various strategic growth initiatives for the bank, including the development of its process improvement and intelligent automation program. His strong background and commitment to excellence are expected to drive the mortgage division forward.

Evans is also a certified public accountant and recently obtained the Certified Strategic Financial Leader designation from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is based in Tulsa, where he will work from, leading the Arvest Mortgage Division into a new era of innovation and growth.

In 2023, the Arvest Mortgage Division saw .9 billion in mortgage origination volume. The bank itself has significant operations with 226 branches across four states, holding total assets of .37 billion and employing 6,266 people as of March 31, 2024.

This change in leadership is part of Arvest’s continued effort to adapt and evolve in the financial sector. With Evans at the helm, the Arvest Mortgage Division is poised to further its commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers.
