New Online Utility Payment System for Fayetteville Residents
The City of Fayetteville has recently launched a new online utility payment system called Utility Access, which promises to be more user-friendly and efficient. This new system replaces the previous eUtility payment service.
This change is designed to improve the customer experience, with notable features that include a mobile-friendly design, the ability to make one-time or recurring payments using credit, debit, or e-checks, and the option to enroll in paperless billing and email reminders. Additionally, Utility Access allows customers to view consumption and account information, download past utility bills, and manage multiple utility accounts under a single login.
To ensure a seamless transition, existing eUtility customers must register for a Utility Access account before July 22, 2024. Scheduled payments in the old system will be deactivated, and access to eUtility will be discontinued. Those already using automatic bank drafts or mail-in payments can continue with their current payment methods, but they are encouraged to sign up for Utility Access to enjoy the benefits of this enhanced system.
To support various payment preferences, in addition to using Utility Access, customers may also make payments by phone, in person at City Hall, or by mail. Payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, or one-time check payments over the phone.
