Missy Darwin Kincaid Named Director of Development for the Honors College
University of Arkansas alumna and Little Rock native Missy Darwin Kincaid has been appointed director of development for the Honors College. This new role, which became effective on July 15, will see Kincaid leading the fundraising efforts for the college, leveraging her extensive experience in philanthropy, community engagement, and advocacy.
As the director of development, Kincaid will strategically oversee fundraising initiatives, working closely with the Honors College’s Dean’s Advisory Board and Parents Committee. Among her key responsibilities will be identifying and stewarding a portfolio of donors to support the college’s priorities and University of Arkansas initiatives.
Kincaid brings a wealth of experience to this position. Her previous roles include serving as the first Northwest Arkansas development director for Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, where she significantly increased giving, and as the vice president of development and director of donor engagement for Walton Arts Center. In these roles, she led successful capital campaigns and consistently secured substantial individual and planned gifts.
