Outdoor Movie Series Ends at Walker Park Featuring Smokey & the Mirror
The outdoor movie series has finally come to a close at Walker Park, with an exciting finale featuring the musical talents of Smokey & the Mirror. The event, part of the “Movies in the Parks” series, brought the community together for an unforgettable night of music and film.
Preceding the screening, Smokey & the Mirror took the stage to perform music from the film, creating an electrifying atmosphere for the assembled crowd. The audience was treated to a unique and intimate experience as they watched the movie come alive through the band’s energetic performance.
The movie series, a collaboration between the City of Fayetteville and the Arkansas Cinema Society, offered four free outdoor film screenings throughout the summer. The screenings, held at both Walker Park and Bryce Davis Park, brought classic films to the big screen under the stars, encouraging attendees to bring their blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets to enhance the outdoor movie experience.
Wonderful memories were created as families and friends gathered to enjoy classic films while snuggled up under the night sky. The farewell event at Walker Park was indeed a fitting end to a memorable summer of outdoor cinema.
