Siloam Springs Man Killed, Springdale Woman Injured in Crash
A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred in Springdale on Wednesday afternoon, claiming the life of Ambrosio Garcia, a 63-year-old man from Siloam Springs. Garcia was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt north on Arkansas 112 near Freedom Place when he crossed into the southbound lane, resulting in a collision with a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse.
At approximately 12:37 p.m., the crash took place under clear and dry road conditions. The driver of the second vehicle, Deanna Jo Young, a 41-year-old woman from Springdale, was injured in the incident and transported to Washington Regional Medical Center.
The crash report highlights that Garcia’s vehicle veered into the opposite lane, leading to the collision. Garcia did not survive the crash, while Young was treated for her injuries at the hospital.
