Startup Junkie Hosts Pitch Competition at HonorFest
On Saturday, August 10, Startup Junkie shall take pride in organizing the IdeaFame Pitch Competition at HonorFest.
Little more than four years ago, Startup Junkie acknowledged the need for an innovative virtual pitch platform to enthuse young entrepreneurs across the state. This vision was successfully realized in 2020 through a collaboration with Conductor, with the Zoom IdeaFame event. Today, Startup Junkie continues to pioneer virtual pitching platforms, bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and opportunity.
Over the years, Startup Junkie has expanded its reach, partnering with diverse organizations to create opportunities for various communities. For instance, in the summer of 2019, the team collaborated with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball club to host an in-game pitch event. Additionally, Startup Junkie has also worked with the University of Arkansas to host a student pitch contest, fostering entrepreneurial spirit amongst students.
At HonorFest 2024, Startup Junkie assembles once more to celebrate the potential of visionaries. Beckoning military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their families, the IdeaFame Pitch Competition presents a chance for these unsung heroes to take the stage and showcase their business ideas. This 60-second, high-stakes competition offers a ,000 cash prize, a significant vote of confidence in the entrepreneurial spirit of these brave individuals.
