University of Arkansas Sees Record Enrollment with 16% Growth Over Five Years
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, has reported a significant increase in enrollment, with this year’s total of more than 32,000 students. This includes 27,471 undergraduates, representing a 16% increase over the past five years.
Strong Interest for Admissions
The university has received over 15,000 applications for the upcoming year and has already admitted nearly 10,000 students. The target for the fall 2024 freshmen class is 6,800, which would be a slight increase from previous years.
Admission Guidelines

Test-Optional Policy
Students with a high school GPA above 3.20 are eligible for test-optional admission, but they must still submit test scores for placement and enrollment by May 1, 2025.
