Fees Waived at USACE Recreation Areas June 16 and 19

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is set to waive day use fees at its recreation areas across the nation on two special occasion days: June 16 to celebrate the USACE birthday and June 19 for Juneteenth National Independence Day. This waiver applies to fees associated with boat launch ramps and swim beaches only, excluding camping and camping-related services, as well as fees for specialized facilities and events.

Normal day use fees will resume on June 17 and 18. This limited waiver provides an opportunity for people to enjoy outdoor activities at USACE recreation areas without the additional cost of day use fees for boat launching and swimming on these specific days.

  • The waiver does not cover camping and camping-related services.
  • Fees for specialized facilities and events remain unaffected.

During these days, visitors can access the recreation areas without incurring the usual fees for boat launch ramps and swim beaches, making it a great opportunity to engage in outdoor activities and celebrate these special occasions.
