Main Street Food Truck Festival Prepares for a Delicious Weekend
The City of Little Rock prepares for the 13th edition of the Main Street Food Truck Festival, scheduled for September 22nd this year. This event promises to be a delightful affair with a plethora of culinary options and family-friendly activities along Main Street and Capitol Avenue.
Over 60 food trucks and vendors will line the streets, offering a diverse range of local and international cuisines to satisfy every palate. The heart of downtown will resonate with excitement as attendees of all ages enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, complete with games and entertainment.
One of the highlights of this year’s festival is the return of Main Street Food Truck Friday, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Capitol Plaza. This preview event will set the tone for the bigger festival on Sunday, showcasing the best of Little Rock’s mobile food community.
The event organizers, the Downtown Little Rock Partnership and the Main Street Revitalization Committee, aim to bring life and vibrancy to Main Street through this festival. Given its success in previous years, this festival is bound to attract large crowds, boosting local businesses and fostering community spirit.
DTD Ammersphere will bring its Battle at the Capitol competition to the festival. The festival grounds will include blocks 300-800 on Main Street and several blocks on Capitol Avenue. For all interested entertainers, performers must provide their own equipment, and an e-packet with performance details will be sent a week prior to the event.
