Lane Closure Scheduled on Interstate 40
The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) has announced a planned lane closure on Interstate 40 in Faulkner County. This closure is scheduled for Monday, September 9, weather permitting, and will involve alternating closures of the east and west outside lanes near Mayflower.
The closures, now confirmed to take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., are part of a routine bridge inspection on the stretch over Palarm Creek, just south of Grassy Lake Road. ARDOT has assured that cones and signage will be in place to manage traffic flow.
