Attorney Bob Edwards Tapped for Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission

Bob Edwards, a seasoned attorney from Little Rock, has been confirmed to fill the vacant seat on the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission. The confirmation comes after a unanimous vote by the Little Rock Board of Directors.

Edwards, who previously served as chief of staff for then-Arkansas Attorney General Mark Pryor, brings a wealth of experience to the position. His background in law, focusing on representing victims of nursing home abuse and negligence, underscores his commitment to advocacy.

In addition to his significant legal expertise, Edwards has held various prestigious positions. He is the current President of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and sits on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice. His broader professional affiliations include the Arkansas Advocates for Nursing Home Residents, the American Bar Association, and several other notable organizations.

The Airport Commission seat, which had been vacant since the end of last year, was vacated by Stacy Hurst, who led the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism under former Governor Mike Beebe.

This appointment marks a significant milestone in Edwards’ distinguished career.
