The Blue & You Foundation has announced a significant investment in improving maternal and pediatric health across Arkansas, awarding nearly .3 million to a range of innovative programs. The grants will support various programs addressing adverse childhood experiences, child development support, education and outreach, postpartum care support, maternal and infant health disparities, maternal mortality improvement solutions, prenatal healthcare, and pediatric healthcare. Notably, NYITCOM received a 4,380 grant to improve maternal and pediatric health in rural Arkansas through community health initiatives. UAMS received a 9,000 grant to support a program addressing maternal depression and its effects on child development.
