Introducing a Unified Skies Collaboration in Arkansas
A thriving business hub in Northwest Arkansas heralds a strategic partnership between Buffalo River Aviation and Central Flying Service, facilitated by Charter Air Partners. This teaming, spearheaded by Chris Townsley, Austin Albers, and Brian Ahlert, aims to provide seamless, boutique charter air services amid the state’s bustling economic landscape.
Balancing Partnership and Entrepreneurship
Nimble and forward-looking, Buffalo River Aviation, based at Louise Thaden Field in Bentonville, has one five-seat King Air twin turboprop and access to two other privately owned aircraft. The partnership allows them to operate under Central Flying Service’s regulatory authorization while awaiting their own certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Central Flying Service, Little Rock’s oldest air charter company, has approximately 100 employees and three planes. Acquired by Tricoastal Ventures LLC and CEO Phil Jordan in 2022, the company seeks to broaden its reach, finding a perfect match in Buffalo River Aviation for its entry into the burgeoning Northwest Arkansas market.
A Haven for Business Travelers
This alliance promises quintessential charter service: convenience and efficiency. Buffalo River Aviation’s light jets can reach smaller airports untouched by traditional airlines, saving business travelers valuable time.
Chris Townsley, whose entrepreneurial spirit resonates with Jordan, acknowledges the importance of this partnership to boost the thriving business economy in Northwest Arkansas. He asserts that whether FAA certification comes soon or years later, their bond will remain a strategic collaboration.
Growth and Aspirations
In addition to expanding operations with a newly added jet, Buffalo River Aviation has plans for a third aircraft in the near futureāan ambitious move that reflects the dynamism of its vision.
Buffalo River Aviation’s metamorphosis as an individualized charter service will eventually be realized, but it is clear that the strategic bond with Central Flying Service will transcend any formal certifications. Their relationship exudes a balanced vigor of business acumen, desire to serve, and adherence to regulations.
As the wings of progress steadily beat across the skies of Arkansas, Central Flying Service and Buffalo River Aviation stand as a joint testament to adaptability and steadfast persistence in establishing a world-class charter air services network.
