City of Little Rock Addresses Yard Waste Collection Delays
The City of Little Rock Public Works Department has been working to resolve delays in yard waste collection. The issue came to light when the department faced a one-day suspension of the service due to inadequate trucks and personnel to manage both garbage and yard waste routes simultaneously.
In response, the department implemented measures to ensure all garbage routes operated according to schedule. Once the garbage collection was stabilized, crews resumed yard waste collection in affected areas, working through the weekend to cover all routes.
The city has updated residents on the status of the services, appreciating their patience and cooperation during the brief disruption. Normal yard waste collection schedules resumed on the Monday following the suspension.
This incident highlights the City of Little Rock’s commitment to maintaining efficient and effective waste management services for its residents.
