Clinton National Airport Shifts to Cashless Parking

Starting Monday, Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, will transition to a cashless parking system. This change is part of a broader trend among airlines and vendors to eliminate cash transactions.

As of September 9, the airport will discontinue staffing its main parking payment booths. Instead, self-service kiosks will accept credit, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, making transactions more efficient for the majority of patrons who already use credit cards (about 96% of parking customers). While this shift may present temporary challenges for those who prefer cash payments, airport officials are taking steps to accommodate them as well.

Accommodation and Alternative Measures

For the next few months, an on-site employee will be available to facilitate cash payments. Additionally, a kiosk located in the ticket lobby will offer a cash-to-credit card exchange service. This ensures that those who rely on cash can still pay for parking without significant inconvenience.

The airport will continue to provide a wide range of parking options, including long and short-term surface lots and a covered parking deck featuring access to the terminal via an enclosed skybridge. Fees for parking, calculated at .00 per 20-minute increment, will remain the same, with daily maximum rates ranging from .00 to .00 depending on the lot. Shuttle service is provided from the South Long-term lot only.
