1. Little Rock Musical Coterie’s Founder’s Day Celebration and Concert: On Sunday, at 2 p.m., Trinity United Methodist Church will host the Little Rock Musical Coterie’s Founder’s Day Celebration and Concert. This event will feature sopranos Shannon Webb and Christine Donahue, mezzo-soprano Diane Kesling, and pianist Janine Tiner in a program celebrating the 1898 founding of the National Federation of Music Clubs, of which the Little Rock Coterie is a member.

2. 2nd Friday Art Night: On Friday, the Old State House Museum will host QUALIFY The Gravel Yard for a 5:30-7:30 p.m. performance as part of Little Rock’s 2nd Friday Art Night. If you’re in the area around then, you can also catch Jamie Stewart and the Great Highland Pipes at the Historic Arkansas Museum from 5-8 p.m.

3. “Where Art & Words Entwine” Exhibit: Starting this Saturday at Boswell Mourot Fine Art, “Where Art & Words Entwine” will be on display. This multi-disciplinary exhibit features paintings by Lucy Towbin, poetry by Paula Martin, and prose by Anne Gordon Perry. The artists and authors will give presentations at 6:30 and 8 p.m., both of which are free and open to the public.

4. Neighborhood Bowling & Dating: If you’re looking to spend some quality time with friends or a date, why not try bowling? Little Rock offers the chance to have unlimited bowling, black lights, and great music in a dance club atmosphere at StrikeZone Bowling.

5. Fine Arts Contest for Young Artists: Young artists looking to showcase their creativity can participate in the 2025 Fine Arts Contest organized by the Youth Center. Submissions are open from January 1st to February 21st, and the contest is an excellent opportunity to display your talents.

6. Dinner with Santa: For those who love family events, Youth Programs at Little Rock is hosting an annual Dinner with Santa at the Hangar 1080 Event Center. The event includes a DJ, door prizes, a pajama contest, face painting, and a selfie contest.

7. Art and Food in River Market: Explore the Little Rock River Market during the weekend and indulge in a cultural food tour. After the food tour, shop at Painted Tree Marketplace where you can find unique boutique crafts. Transportation is provided, and deployed affected families will be given priority.
