Local Man Arrested for Threats Against Walmart Employees in Jacksonville
In a startling incident that shook the community, Jacksonville police arrested Kenyon Branch on Saturday morning for making threats against Walmart employees. The store was briefly closed as authorities responded to the situation.
Branch was apprehended at the Walmart location on McCain Boulevard in North Little Rock. An arrest warrant was issued after authorities received a call from a dispatcher where the caller allegedly stated his intention to shoot Walmart staff members.
During the investigation, police officers determined that Branch was making false terroristic threats and impersonating someone else. He currently faces charges for these crimes and is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center.
