Museum of Discovery Hosts ‘Pitch ‘N Punch’ for Youth Students
The Museum of Discovery in Little Rock recently hosted the ‘Pitch ‘N Punch’ competition, a unique event designed to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among young students. This event brought together aspiring entrepreneurs entering grades 5th-8th to present their innovative business ideas and projects aimed at fostering positive change within the community.
Modeled after the popular ‘Shark Tank’ format, the competition allowed participants to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit by pitching their concepts to a panel of esteemed judges. Up to 10 selected students delivered their pitches, using optional props or prototypes to illustrate their vision. The opportunity to win up to 0 in cash prizes added an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Organized by The Venture Center, this competition is part of a broader effort to nurture and support the next generation of entrepreneurs. Partnering organizations, including Economics Arkansas and Young Entrepreneur Institute, have been instrumental in providing support and resources to encourage student participation.
