Firefighters Unite for Leadership Training on 9/11 Anniversary
On this anniversary of 9/11, Little Rock saw a remarkable gathering of over 150 firefighters from across the United States. The First In Fire Conference brought together these dedicated professionals for hands-on training and lectures focused on leadership development. The event began at 7:46 a.m., marking the moment the first plane hit the World Trade Center in New York City 23 years ago. This poignant timing underscored the importance of remembering the lives lost, with 344 firefighters among the victims. The event, which ran through Saturday, sought to honor their memory by preparing the next generation of firefighters for the challenges ahead.
