Stories of Courage: Arkansas Women Share Their Battles
Randalynn, a part-time single mom of two young children, thought she was healthy, but her reality was far different. This diagnosis had a profound impact on her life, turning her into a stronger person who now works to raise awareness for ovarian cancer research.
- Another woman, Libby, was on the path to fertility treatments when a sonogram revealed an enlarged ovary. The shocking diagnosis of granulosa cell tumor changed her life. Though she had no apparent symptoms initially, Libby realized she had been experiencing extreme fatigue and frequent bathroom visits. Her story is a testament to resilience and gratitude for the support she received from her husband and healthcare team
- Rita Nunn Jones, another ovarian cancer survivor, also shares her story. A breast cancer survivor, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer six years later. Her journey highlights the importance of continued support and awareness for those fighting this silent killer
