UA Little Rock Sees Substantial Enrollment Growth
UA Little Rock has achieved its largest enrollment growth in 15 years, marking a significant milestone.
The university’s efforts to provide an affordable and accessible higher education have translated into substantial growth in both freshman and transfer student enrollments.
First-time freshman enrollment has surged by nearly 27 percent, from 353 students last year to 447 for the 2024 academic year. Transfer student enrollment has also risen an impressive 18 percent, with 776 students enrolled compared to 656 in the previous year.
All these efforts seem to be part of the university’s larger plan, which includes the Trojan Guarantee scholarship, offering full tuition to pre-eligible students. This has contributed significantly to the influx of new students, and the overall undergraduate enrollment for the fall 2024 term has grown by 3.7 percent, reaching a total of 5,434 students.
Chancellor Christina Drale attributed this success to the collective efforts of faculty, staff, and administration in creating an environment that attracts students and supports their success.
