The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas Opens Submissions for Gender Equity Scorecard
The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas (WFA) has launched its submission period for the Gender Equity Scorecard, a powerful tool designed to measure and enhance gender equity within organizations.
Deadline Set for October 31, 2024
The Scorecard is now available at womensfoundationarkansas.org, and all interested organizations must submit their applications by October 31, 2024, to be eligible for the prestigious 2025 Olivia Farrell Gender Equity Leadership Award.
Comprehensive Evaluation
The Scorecard encompasses five key areas of evaluation:
- Financial literacy
- Flexibility in the workplace
- Job skills and promotion rates
- Effective leadership and accountability
- Inclusive culture and practices
Empowering Businesses and Communities
This initiative aims to foster a culture of equity and inclusivity in the workplace, providing a platform for organizations to assess and improve their gender equity practices. The WFA is dedicated to supporting women-owned businesses and promoting economic mobility throughout the state.
Additional Resources for Women Entrepreneurs
Additionally, the WFA offers further resources, including its Women Empowered initiative and the Women’s Economic Mobility Hub (WEM Hub). The WEM Hub provides technical assistance, mentorship, and financial support to Black women-owned businesses, helping them scale and thrive.
