CBCO and UofA Partner for September Blood Drive
On Wednesday, September 11, the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) and the University of Arkansas (UofA) will join forces to host a critical blood drive. Scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this event aims to collect indispensable blood donations to support patients in need.
The blood drive is part of the CBCO’s continuous effort to maintain a stable supply of blood and blood products. By partnering with the University of Arkansas, the two organizations hope to attract a large and diverse group of donors, ensuring that the needs of local patients are met.
Donors attending the event will have the opportunity to give blood, which will then be distributed to hospitals and medical centers in the region. This collaborative effort underlines the importance of community involvement in supporting healthcare initiatives.
Throughout the day, CBCO staff will be available to assist donors and provide information about the donation process. Potential donors can prepare by ensuring they meet the necessary eligibility requirements and scheduling an appointment in advance to streamline the process.
