Construction Progresses on Bentonville’s Quilt of Parks

The Quilt of Parks project in Bentonville is moving forward with its multi-phased construction plan.

This visionary project aims to connect six parks and public spaces in downtown Bentonville via a linear park called the A Street Promenade. Once complete, it will greatly enhance the pedestrian and cyclist experience in the area.

Phases Underway

Construction has already begun on Town Branch Park, with A Street Promenade set to follow shortly.

Both phases are expected to be under construction by the end of September 2023, with a target completion date of 2025.

Key Features

  • Streetscapes and Public Spaces: Lawrence Plaza, Dave Peel Park, The Common, Town Branch Park, and the Activity Center Park will all be part of the interconnected system.
  • Pedestrian and Cyclist Experience: The aim is to create a safe, social, and exciting experience for both residents and visitors.
  • Master Planning and Design: Design Workshop has been instrumental in creating the vision for Quilt of Parks, incorporating public engagement to ensure the best possible outcome.
